  How do the GB do it?

  the majority of your standard jws have no clue as to the topics discussed here - the scandals, lies, coverups etc by the watchtower society.

  some will know of certain things but dismiss them.

  obviously there's the lurkers and faders who know things, but who aren't really jws.. but the gb, and brothers high up the food chain who know everything.

  The higher they are up the food chain, the more lives they have affected and the consequenses of admitting they have made fools of themselves gets greater and greater. The easy way out is just to turn the brain off and ignor anything that makes them look dishonest and just another sucker for a failed doomsday cult.

  "true, there have been those in times past who predicted an "end to the world," even announcing a specific date.

  i want to start by saying i will not participate in discussion here about my resignation as a moderator at jwn.. simon please consider this as my resignation from that position.. i have been posting on this board for almost 12 years.

  i know some of you a lot, others a little and some not very well at all.

  i have remained here for those of you who have needed support as you make the transition out of the wts, who needed someone to listen to your experiences of abuse at the hands of jehovah's witnesses, and to both laugh and cry with you as you progress out of the watchtower society.. we know that we have all experienced the cruelty of abuse of one kind or another.

  There is no need to shut down a website in order to revamp it. All of that can be done offline at the Web master's leisure without any disruption, then uploaded at their whim. No drama required.

  first off, he didn't even know that 607 was relevant to jw teachings.

  You talk too much. He's not getting time to think. Try asking your question, then waiting for his answer.

  Sometimes it is best to get them to state what their beliefs are before you ask your question, so that they don't have an opportunity to feign ignorance or pretend they don't/didn't teach/say that.
